Description: Our client is looking for a talented Senior IT Support Technician to join their team based in Scotland. The Senior IT support Technician is responsible for ensuring the assistance is provided to all geographically located users with a customer service focus.
Minimum Years Experience: 3 Years
5 Key Skills Required:
– Proficient in Microsoft office 365 products.
– Previous support experience in either 2nd or 3rd line, including a proven track record providing support in a client facing environment, ideally Manufacturing environment experience would be advantageous.
– Previous administration experience MS technologies like SQL server, including SSIS and ETL.
– Demonstrable experience of using and support SAP.
– Degree or Diploma in an IT discipline .
5 Areas of Responsibility:
– Respond to requests for assistance with all software,hardware,network and telecommunications as required.
– Provide 2nd and 3rd line support services and cover if required.
– Participate at technical lead in projects.
– Ensure all service requests logged and maintained accurately in the company service desk software.
– Handling the diverse issues that occur on a day to day basis and dealing with multiple issues at the same time.
