Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant

Engagement Type: Support and Implementation.

Description: Our client is looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant to lead the analysis, design, and oversight of the implementation and deployment of Oracle Fusion Cloud across their European subsidiaries, delivering ongoing continuous improvement projects on the Oracle Cloud System.

The Functional Consultant is a hybrid role of functional and technical skills, and will assist in expanding and refining system requirements, designing and implementation of system changes to support process improvements, and analysing implications to support key decisions and recommendations to executive management on current and future business area processes and policies.

Minimum Years Experience: 5 Years

5 Key Skills Required:

– 5 years experience of working in Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle eBusiness financials or comparable systems.
– Ability to interpret business requirements and high level solution designs into detailed designs for technical development and configuration.
– Ability to communicate concisely, clearly and effectively across functions and cultures.
– Demonstrates the ability to analyse and understand data and information quickly.
– Use information, insights and knowledge in a structured way to recommend options backed by logic including benefits for our client.

5 Areas of Responsibility:

– Take ownership for specific project deliverables within the Finance area of the Oracle Fusion Cloud project e.g. specific subledger module, tax or regulatory localisations, or external system integration, ensuring that project objectives for design, implementation, data migration and testing are met.
– Identify and document the business and regulatory requirements to deploy of Oracle Fusion Cloud across our clients European subsidiaries.
– Ownership for the documentation of our data migration processes, and monitoring and review of the data migration team to ensure that they are following the processes, and to assist in resolving any issues that arise.
– Support other ad hoc financial systems projects within the business.
– Own the documentation of system configuration, design and processes for their project areas.
